I would try a different crop but I think it's interesting minus the blackheads and bumps on the face and nose. I'd try smoothing the skin a bit and fixing the white balance. Sharpening the eyes wouldn't be a bad idea either. Just my $.02.

Good concept, nicely sharp and clean

the excess space sort of fights against the claustrophobic feel of the face
the yellowish, bright blaze on the nose pulls my eye.
