Seeing the forest (as I move from) behind the tree
I'm not all that far from the path
all these years it's been obscured to me
now resolved with a weak laugh

The forest looks gorgeous. Would love to take a walk down that path. Not a fan of the desaturation in the image though. Also it looks a bit oversharpend. Maybe that's because of the harsh daylight.

Thanks Mersad. Maybe a bit oversharpened- the strong side light really nailed the pine needles though. The full size is not so bad. I'll be working with sort of an autochrome technique probably throughout the summer. Reds and blues tend to look a little better, more saturated, than the other colors--At least that's what I learned out of this image.
