The George Washington Bridge

I have been to this park and shot similar images. It is generally not easy to do because of the sky. The filters you used were a big help, and the 17-40 seems to have been wide enough as well. Nice shooting.


Have you walked/driven down towards the bridge itself and taken images from under the bridge? If not, it is a fun place to shoot from.

It's not HDR. I actually used a 2 and a 3 stop ND grad to hold back the sky to get a somewhat even exposure.

As I drove to the spot, I did notice the area directly beneath the bridge. It's on the list!

I did combine the two and angled them from 5 to 11 o'clock to follow the upper edge of the bridge.
