Took me a while to find him..... 
In the other heron pics on here the subject used to be very close up, in the sun, clearly the very focus of the photo - not so here. Absolutely no so here. Wow. How cleverly different.

I don't know what kind of camera or film you use but I love the colors in this picture. It has a old time color feel, like it was taken with an older lens, 50mm or something. You also inspire me the way you can move from color to B&W with such ease.
