i am not seeing much elements of interests; but these things are subjective too; what you have in your mind may not have conveyed with required power

Haha, Quite so... Well the roads on one side and the construction on the other and a tree ( soon to be dead ) in the center

.
It just started to pour down heavily when i began this shoot. Didn't get a chance to get real close or experiment with other angles and composition, had to run to my car.

I like the tonal quality; very clean whites that lead into kind of a high key sky, which further isolates the lone tree in the darker shades. I like your film border to. However it did take a few seconds for me to get the impact you were trying to create. I think experimenting with angles and using a wider lens would take the viewer a lot closer to where you were heading with this one.
