I have to agree with DBJ on this one. There is so much to look at in the background, but I find myself finding the fogbank more of an annoyance to look around rather than a contributing element.

I like the concept and the background element are great but the foreground fog bank doesn't have much of an anchor to give it solidity. Throw some trees or rocks etc infront and you got a banger.

The bottom 2/3 of the image confuses me.

A panoramic crop of the actual discernible part of the image would be stronger IMO. OR if there were interesting things peeking out of the fog in the foreground that echoed the top, or whatever. Or even if there was an interesting transition that made the fog look like an ocean with a coast, it could be cool. An abrupt, blank featureless gray rectangle isn't doing it for me though.
