The little thai boy in the Tree by Pascal Riben

I don't like what has happened to the lightest tones here, with that weird grey/silver cast to them. The boy is almost lost in the dappled light, which is probably the point, but I confess that I don't get it.

It's possible that I am so irritated by the non-white whites that I am missing something, and that I would like it a lot better if those were fixed. The concept is sound, I think.

Thank you for your comment. The right side was completely overexposed, I have chosen - and I understand some people don't like this - to down it to grey. Three seconds after this picture, the little boy had left the tree, no time to take a second picture well exposed.
