I know what you mean, and the feeling is definitely there. I like the shadows, it's dark but legible, and the contrast is definitely a plus as there is a sense of layers to the image, the eyes having to readjust to each piece. I think the brights are a bit too bright tho, maybe tone it down a bit?

I agree that the light is a bit bright and distracting, but I like the feeling that shot give.

yes your right. the pillow on the left is mucho bright. unfortunately it turns pur grey when you darken it up, there's no detail just white. ah well, next time
