It looks like a sound barrier, often constructed to keep the noise of a highway next to a residential area reduced to a tolerable level.

Jake, that's a pretty nice shot, using the wall to define a vanishing point. However, you should have run out and asked your subject to switch their sweatshirts to a light-coloured one so that they would stand out from the wall more.

Yeah. Man I really need to get my PC back up and running. I definitely would been able to do some dodging to get some separation from the wall.

I've been contemplating cropping for a better composition. Thoughts? Should I lose the car or does it add to the image?

I think you could loose the car and see if the man, wall and conditions are concentrated

Personally, I'd consider cropping it right at the end of the wall. Then you have a "perpetual wall" and a person walking in front of it, apparently forever.

I'very made a few crops bit I feel like in losing the vanishing point or at least it pushes out to fat to the edge of the frame. I'll post a few different crops when I take my lunch break in a bit here.

The wall appears to be a sound barrier. The composition is fine except maybe for a crop off the right, making the viewer believe there is an infinite wall running through the photo. Perhaps you can dodge the walker a bit to accentuate him better.

Thanks. I would dodge the guy but no PC at the moment. I am getting it fixed this weekend. This is just a jpeg out of camera with a small curves adjustment in my phone.
