The magazine "look"

most professionals use "L" series lens.
Only if they shoot with Canon bodies, which means it's less than 1/2 of pro shooters, so "most professionals" is a stretch.

How do I come up with less than 1/2 shoot with Canon cameras?

Canon and Nikon pretty much equally share 85% of the DSLR market, so each have 42.5%.

So in round numbers that means, at the least, 57.5% shoot something other than Canon.

To keep it straight forward we won't consider those pro shooters that use medium or large format cameras, which would reduce the number of Canon DSLR pro shooters even more.

It's really not that cut a dried though because not all Canon, or Nikon, or any other brand of DSLR shooters are pro's.

In fact I've mentioned before, most of my friends that shoot pro, shoot Olympus. Go figure! :lmao:
