The Master Bed - Model (Lingerie NSFW) C&C

i dont know if its just my monitor, but this one seems bright to me...the whole image. not blown out bright or anything, just overall brighter than the others. could just be me tho.

I like the pose here. I think it accentuates her figure nicely, and better than the door photo.
in this pose, she shows off her fantastically trim stomach without pushing her ribs out, and she has just enough
upper body curve to show off her hips without the hipbones being noticeable. (her raised leg helps with this effect as well) fantastic job on the pose here T-dawg. mad props, yo. that shiz is off the chain.

my eyes have been bothering me today, and are itchy...so if im off base here, just tell me...but...
is the DOF here pretty shallow? it kinda looks like her right arm is oof or soft focus? maybe both arms?

my only other nitpic would be that her bra kinda looks big on her. while it might be the proper bra size for her to be wearing, it just looks largish in comparison to the rest of the outfit.

I agree with pretty much everything pixmedic said. The first thing I noticed was the brightness. It looks like it does when you have been in a dark theater then immediately go out into bright sunlight and your eyes are still trying to adjust to the brightness.

it is bright, and that was a look I was going for here, an airy light dream state. Nothing is blown...hmmm. As far as DOF it's f3.5 at just over 55mm and looking at the full size her arms look very sharp to me. All sizes | _POR9493-Edit | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Shoes on the carpet!! ;)

If possible is crop out the hinges.

originally I cropped so that the hinges framed the scene but ya, I think now that was an error.

like i said...my eyes are killing me today, so i wasn't sure. everything is looking just a hair OOF to me right now.
I dont dislike the brightness, i only noticed that it seemed a bit brighter than the others.
I think i agree on cropping out the door hinges.

On my screen, it looks like the colors do not contrast enough, her skin tones/hair color and the background don't go well together. Red lingerie with white shoes may have been a better choice considering the model's skin tone with the background. Her pose is not sexy in this photos, she looks nervous or like she has to pee. The light to the left of her head is a little distracting. Sorry to be so critical.

Well there's two things that I think I see with this one on initial impressions. First is that it doesn't pop quite as much as your other shots do. I don't know if that's because of the colours are are very similar or whither its an ambient light balance thing (I'm also on my phone so not a calibrated monitor) or whither I'm just used to you having a certian style.

The second is that I don't like the pose. I'm not entirely sure why (I've got zero experience with models) but it looks to me like the top half is part of one pose and the bottom half is another. I think in my head that makes it look a bit awkward and like I cant imagine why her leg is raised. Though I think its the top half that needs repositioned in some way if that makes sense.

Either way its a nitpick and still a good shot. I particularly like the way the door on the lhs shows slightly more which really helps draw the eye in to the model in the how we read left to right thing. Nice touch.

It's a bit warm to me, WB wise. I don't think it's too bright, but I tend to run hot on exposure per other's critique of my work. MUCH BETTER pose and lighting, in my opinion. Here, she looks fit and like she gained 10lbs, and much more attractive. But again that is just my opinion. I'd crop or clone out the hinges too.

Please do try to comment on my image, technique, pose, post, lighting, etc

Couple thoughts in terms of ways you could enhance this:
1. I don't like that half of each hand is cut off (b/c it's behind the door). You've got some terrific lines here, a very statuesque model and instead you stop the flowing lines by chopping off her hands. I'd at least have her extent some fingers on the front of the door (as unnatural as that may feel) to create more of a line and flow with her.
2. A problem with a lot of real models (as opposed to amateurs or wannabes who are 5'2") is that b/c of their build and height, when their legs face you straight on they look like sticks, almost unnaturally thin. Heels help a woman's legs b/c they help create a nice flowing line (she's on her toes not flatfooted) and they add curve to the calves. If her left toe was just pointed 10 degrees to the left, that same leg wouldn't look like a stick but instead we'd see some curve to the calf.
3. Love the general pose (one shoulder higher than the other, modified Z or S curve with the hips and shoulders, hair all to one side).
4. I'd crop this a little bit--the dark hinges on each door are distracting to me. I'd also remove the lights over the bed on the back wall--small distractions that don't need to be seen.

I would have turned off the light top left and opened the doors so they were symmetrical

Door hinges gone!

I like the brightness in this. Overall a winner I say!

Hmmm. Things I see: The room seems warm to me. Maybe that was the color of the lights and walls, but it's a touch to yellow for me. The pose is nice and simple. She's well lit, but I think the room is a bit bright as well. I like a bit more contrast between the subject and BG, so I would have dropped that a stop or stop and a half to give it some more.. dynamism? maybe. And maybe a bit less DOF. The rooms relatively "focused" for your work, and I'd like to see more focal separation as well. But, at 55 and f3.5, that's tough. I'm sure you were limited in focal length given the indoors-ness of it, so I understand that.

Overall it's good, but I don't think any from these shoot have the WOW factor that your typical work does. I'm not sure why, but they just don't smack me in the face/entrance me like your usual work. Maybe you haven't edited the best of the best yet?!
