thanks. that is the first time i have tried to photograph the moon. i have been meaning to do that since i got my big lens. most of the time i go out in the yard and i cant see the moon from my house because of all the trees, last night i saw it in my yard very well so i finally got a good moon shot.

Thanks, I'll see if it tells me what settings I used, I took several pics till I got the right exposure. Just got to work so I'll have to look for the settings tomorrow

I was expecting shots of the eclipse last night when that big bright moon went out!
Nice shot, definitely sharper than the ones I managed during the eclipse.

I was at work for the eclipse and it was too cloudy to see the moon. That was a bummer.
