I like this! The figures are silhouetted inside the glass, and it gives the appearance of almost floating above the palm trees. Very disjointed, in a good way. The B&W helps.

We’ve been inside. I’m not sure about the way the art is displayed, but it may turn out to be fine. It’s certainly not according to conventional groupings, and the diversity of work in each gallery may facilitate making or seeing connections that would otherwise have been missed.

And the Academy Museum and the Petersen Auto Museum are right next door. The Page Museum (at the Tar Pits) is closing for a big renovation.)
