The Old Man of Storr, Please C&C

Hi all,

I need some C&C of this pic asap, so I'd appreiciate some feedback. I'm thinking of printing this around 17.5 inches on the long side on canvas and need to know if it's good enough to hang on a wall.

I really like the image over all! I'm always in support of printing photos huge!
however it does seem like there's a bit of a halo between the mountain and sky. did you add the sky in after?

It is OK. If you like it hang it. Looks like a spot in the sky to retouch. But I'm on an old laptop. Check it out.

Check out the app Pictage, I believe they let you upload your photo and see it hanging on a wall before you order... pretty cool!

Thanks aphoto, no the sky is not added in after, its a single raw file processed as a psudo HDR. I see what you are on about though thanks, I'll try and adjust that with a bit of blending tomorrow and see how it goes. My pp skills still need work.

Thanks mate, I see the bit you are on about and will sort it in the morning, it's not just your laptop it's a little blown out but been looking at the damn thing so long I missed that thanks.

Thanks mate, I'll try that in the future but I know where this will be hanging and the subject matter and the colours fit really well. I need to figure out whither I've missed something or messed about too much in post.

I had another go at processing this today as the hills in the background are blotchy and bugging me but I've forgotten how I did it now and can't seem to recreate this look and I really quite like the foreground. I should have saved the Photoshop .psd but for some reason I just produced the .tiff. Chalk another one up on the lessons I've leared today board.
