The Old Photographer of Bristol

I saw this gentleman sat on a bench, fiddling around with an old Olympus film camera. I asked him what he was photographing and he explained that he was fascinated by silhouettes and was trying to capture a silhouette of the nearby church. I showed him my camera which he was fascinated by, although he explained that at the age of 83 he was only just mastering film, so didn't think he had the time to grapple with digital. It was a very cold day, so I bought him a coffee and left him to his work, not before taking his portrait.
