The Putzmeister Landvatter

Out for a walk today and there's a lot of new construction going on. I came across three guys closing up their Putzmeister Landvatter and grabbed a snapshot mostly because it's called a Putzmeister. I asked them what it does (pumps concrete) and how the hell it got Putzmeister written on it and they started laughing uncontrollably -- one of them managed to tell me that's the name of the German guy who owns the company.

Landvatter is somebody's name. Putzmeister is what the machine is. i.e.: "plaster master" in English.

OK -- the guys running it had it mixed up then. So then it really is a Putzmeister -- new one for me.
