I love the story this shot tells and the many expressions on the faces. Those two boys in front are obviously planning something for Santa. The little guy at the bottom picking his nose. The kid on the guy's shoulders, who looks mad, look like he wants to cry. Great catch!

I think this image's impact on me is all about the expressions. We have the varied looks in the parents, and even some of the same expressions in the children, but the meaning is totally different. Motion blur in the girl adds to the mood. I really like this!

Apart from the title, there's nothing to tell me that this has to do with Christmas. That said, I do like the image and having been put in the know by the title, the expression of the man with a child on his shoulders is priceless.
