I shot this pic on a visit to London in the summer

The sky is what I would call "very British" (), and so are the resulting colours: lots of greys. Again this one is not very crisp on my screen, but since I, too, have to scan my prints and put them up, I think I know where the problem comes from.

This photo is very "centralised"... the horizon goes through the middle, and also the point where all the lines come together in the background is in the middle of the photo. Maybe in the future you should choose your frame, then shift the camera a little to either left or right and a little up or down?

Oh thats a familiar sky! The weather here sucks... I'm with LaFoto on this one maybe a crop from the right would give a less centralised image.
