I know I am breaking a few rules - but these are reduced to post as small images.
This evening's sunset - all as "out of camera" no processing whatever, just some cropping. Nearly froze to the shutter although all taken in 5 -6 minutes.

Now to stop and have a play and possibly print a few

Shows how quickly the light goes in winter. This is without processing and taken about 30 minutes earlier - with a little help from fill in flash. The 40D doea a good job for me.

Nice. I kind of like the vertical one, but wish the tree were a bit more off-center. A lovely sunset.
