OP, if you don't mind me asking, what did you use to edit the photo?

Most of the heavy lifting was done in Photomatix. I'll gladly say that I hate the overcooked HDR look, so I spent some time trying to find a balance that would accentuate the detail but not make it obvious that it was HDR. I started with one of the defaults that I thought looked good, and then adjusted from there. Most of the settings are in the middle, except white balance which I pushed up a bit and gamma that I pushed down. From there it was Photoshop to stitch them all together.

MK3Brent: Thanks for directing me to Bayphoto. They actually have a 16x48 which would probably work. I'm thinking either that as a two piece or 15x40 as a three piece. Either way, I'm not getting out of this one cheaply. HA!

Ah you have to do face mount acrylic on this... Those oranges, blues, and purples in the sky will really pop on face mount acrylic.

That does look wicked awesome, MJ. I took a look at their price list...maybe when I have enough money to "make it rain".

I've been plugging away on some of the other shots I took that night. Still have a ton to get through, but thought I'd share this one too. Not as good I think, as I borked the rule of thirds. Still, ya'll should be able to see a bit more detail.
