I've been watching this post for a while and am only commenting to offer potential counter-point... I'm NOT trying to poo-poo the shot... that said...

It might be just me, but I was like "oo... neat idea, but I barely see the geese." It initially looked to me like a shot of the gray textured mountains that needed something in composition or post-processing to bring the texture out more, but then I saw the "winged dots" on the left and was like "oh... are those geese? Oh, they're the focus point..."

Maybe more of a crop to bring them out more? I'm not sure. I totally agree that it's neat, it was just lost a bit on me, personally because the geese were hard to see.
