Unsure why I never posted these.

Taken about three weeks ago when I still had the 600D. The usual 50 f/1.8 + tubes macro setup. I stalked these guys (~6mm) for a little over three hours between two flowering plants before getting the shot I wanted. Something about the shape of their heads really gave me an impression of predation over the flowers.

No, thank you. I am honestly going to say that I think these are the best macro photos I have ever seen. I love the darkness about the whole picture yet the deep purple appears bright. Bravo sir.
