there's been a lot of chatter about other forums lately, so...

i checked some of them out and
none of them have nearly as many active members, or as fast of a response time, as this one
they all take hours to give a single response, and you rarely get more than three
negative feedback was also at a minimal, no one would actually tell when your shot was bad

another thing i noticed is that even the people that had been on the forum for more than three years still shot like complete beginners
this made me realize that this place is actually pretty good for getting critique, and improving your photography
so, i feel pretty confident telling people not to leave, and telling others to join this forum
