If you have a little over 7:00 minutes to dedicate to watching a short film, I think you'll enjoy it. The cinematography was done with modern equipment capable of super slow motion shooting, but the lighting indoors was done by traditional slow burning flash bulbs used in the film photography era. The premise behind the video is letting the viewer see moments before, and after family photos were taken back in the 50's. The attention to detail and the cinematography is outstanding IMO. I also really appreciate the melding of old photographic techniques with modern day gear. Some of it is very reminiscent of "The Tree of Life."

You should check out some Explosions in the Sky albums. They're all extremely cinematic and easy to listen to. Take Care, Take Care, Take Care is their most recent one, which this track is off of.

That is an absolutely incredible piece of work. It’s amazing how much feeling and drama the clip projects without a single word being uttered. Not to mention the dramatic details that was captured.

That's part of the reason why I love instrumental music so much. Infinite room for interpretation.
