DSC_8769, DSC_8975 and DSC_9177 are winners.

DSC_8919 is a close also-ran. DSC_8892 and DSC_8748 would be good for stock photos.

Didn't you do any shooting after lunch?

I've gotten pretty good at scanning a mountain of images and selecting the ones which don't want to mess with. If I shoot 1,000 photos, I don't always look at and edit 1,000 photos...

The keeper rate is at about 80% with some neat ones so far(1/5 processed). I came from shooting negatives so I get picky with what I shoot. This time, I went crazy with my 50mm and a lot of them are plain composition exercises. They may not be some grand landscape once-a-life-time shots, but shooting with simple goals like this makes me happy.
