I didn't think that the UK had sun.

This top one is a little bit too incoherent to me.
The rowboat filling the foreground, clear and nicely exposed but clipped off, and the totally different scene at the top.

I like the 2nd post better with lighting, but agree with Lew about boat being cut off.
Alas, I have quite a few of those myself in different photos.
i love the clarity and lighting and that is alot of the needs to a great photo!
