This photography thing is pretty cool...

If you've read my introduction, you already know that I picked up my 1st ever DLSR (Nikon D40), yesterday. Well, I went crazy today at a couple of parks. I then stopped at a friends house and took a picture of thier baby. I have now started playing with the picture. I think this is turning out well for the 1st time. I don't know if I want to mess with it anymore. What do you think?

Some people really dig the selective color thing. If you like it, go for it.

Thank you. I don't know if I'm sold on the selective color yet. That was the 1st time I've done it.

I am personally a fan of selective color but think you may have been better off coloring his clothes or something that wouldn't take the focus away from the subject. Adorable boy!
