Not to be negative, but isn't the light on the other side of the horse???? He seems a bit bright based on where the direction of light is coming from.

well yes and no... the horse was well lit as the rays did fall in the right place, however the sky is from another version of the same shot. The sun was so bright coming through the clouds it would have been impossible to get both in the same shot. I used an ND8 grad filter for all the exposures.
