Tiny snail

Hi, I've just joined this forum. I've posted an introduction (see siggy).

Here's a picture of a tiny snail I found in the garden a while ago. It couldn't have been longer than 6mm. I took it with a reversed 50mm lens mounted on a Toshiba PDR-M61 (oldish p&s digital). You get a tiny dof like this. Sometimes that can be good though. This picture was more luck than judgement.

yes, the small DOF that you get using the reversed lens technique is really bad but you get a huge enlargment though.

I found him crawling around the sink. We have a butler sink outside, it's like a Belfast sink by smaller and with taps built in. I scooped him up on an old bit of wood and took some pictures. He was moving fast and going everywhere. So that is why he's upside down.
