Tit through a hole

Still trying to get my 70-200 sharp. Thought these came out quite nicely. I know oof foreground is not in everyone's taste, but I kind of like how it worked out here. As always C&C welcome.

Just to confirm I'm not nuts. This is a composite of two shots right? The lighting and DOF are making no sense to me between the bird and coconut?

Edit: I now see the foot of the bird confirming my suspicion.
It could be an interesting shot if the coconut (is that a coconut?) wasn't quite as oof.

As for sharpness. The eye looks quite sharp in photo #1

LOL, not a composite. The bird was in the shade, while the coconut is a little brighter. Here is a shot where I missed focus on the bird. The coconut hangs on a branch, and gets 'filled' with bird seed once or twice a day.

I see now.
Even with the coconut in focus it just seems weird.

Now knowing it's a single shot does make it more interesting as a lens bokeh testing spot.
