LOVE the dead frog.

hibernating frogs! i think thats how they stay alive! they slow down their metabolism and freeze!

I like the landscape, but it's underexposed! if you want to keep the sky at that exposure, you can use the dodge tool on photoshop to raise the exposure of the ground, creating a virtual ND Grad Filter. I like my snow to be pure white, but that's just me!

Looks like you have some sensor dust in the upper right, in the first pic it's to the left of the tree, see it in pic #2 also.

A photo like this with mostly vertical subjects, I generally prefer them being in portrait. All the trees on the left and right sides don't add much to your photo.. they're basically just filler/clutter.

arcooke has the correct crop, and he put the sun in the perfect part of the frame. It gives motion to an otherwise static shot. Sunrises and sunsets are virtually impossible to capture with considerable post-processing.

first photo is awesome but needs PP.
that last edit did it.

I like arcooke's edit of the first photo. I love the shot too!

Here's my edit: hope you don't mind. I wanted to bring out the colours a bit more.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

(I left the tree in because I thought it added some interest to the scene)

Thanks for comment, This is what I've done after reading all comment

I was going to say the same thing.
