To Soft??

Cant make up my mind if i like tihis soft? Is it too much?

well, i know this is a question of personal taste, and i am usually not much into this kind of softness anyway, but this one here is probably too soft by many standards.

it makes the eyes stick out of thesoftness in a very freaky manner, looks very unnatural to me.

I would never apply selective softness/sharpness with such a sharp border between them.

also, the empty space on the left does not do anything for me.. or is it to have space for some text?

i love this pic and thinks nothing should be changed.

that is why i reminded people that i do not like considerable softness in portraiture anyway ... so of course my statement here is biased

I love this shot... i think it is very suiting to him, however i think the softness is a little over done, but this is just my taste and i know i have been guilty of it on more than one occasion... i think just a little sharper so the eyes don't look erm... fake... but that is all...
