Try around the Ambassador In in Kingston. It's on a water shed and has Geese, Coots and Buffle heads.

Hooded merganser are definitely skittish little b....rds! I have 100 shots of them not worth posting. Nice set, nice light.

Well liquid nitrogen would freeze them in place, whereas load that same truck with alka seltzer and guaranteed bif shots.
