I had an opportunity to shoot the eagles again, this time under much more favorable light. All were shot hand held with D7100 using a Tamaron 150-600mm G1. All were ISO 100.
Shutter 1/400, f 9, 600mm and cropped. On this one I was going for the "portrait" look or "head shot" but I did not want to cut out his talons.
Shutter 1/400, f 8, 450mm and cropped
Shutter 1/500, f 7.1, 400mm and cropped. I am not as happy with his body position on this one, but I like how it shows his talons.
