Tokina 12-24 f/4 APS-C on Full Frame

Today I mounted my Tok 12-24 f/4 DX on my FF D750. I knew that it could cover FF but I didn't know exactly where it covered. With the uv filter it covers from 19-24 and w/o the uv filter it covers 17-24. Here is a shot from my front porch.

You should check the camera's settings. If the camera is set for "Auto DX Crop", your image will be in DX format, not FX.

From the image, it looks like Auto DX Crop was already selected.

It isn't set to Auto DX and, if I set the lens to anything less than 17mm it begins to vinette until the image is a complete circle at 12mm. This lens is as wide at 17mm on FX as it is at 12mm on DX. I've been considering buying an ultra wide for my FX but at this point, I don't really see the need.
