Dat's purdy! Nice few shots, Sparky. I like them and see I need to figure out how much blood I will need to sell to be able to afford the equipment to shoot good macro.

I like the first one best for some reason.

Nice shots, Sparky. I like #1 the most for angle and composition.

Pretty sure I see the equipment to do fantastic macro shots, Jim. D7000. Check. Tamron 90mm 2.8. Check. You don't need a fast, but that'll help in a lot of instances.

I do have the camera and a good lens but I need a good tripod, extension tubes, and - most importantly probably - a good speedlight. I've found that many of my insect macros end up somewhat soft because I lack a good speedlight. I have Ferrari taste on a Yugo budget, alas. I really need to get at least a half decent tripod and a solid wide angle sometime this month because we're almost to our Ireland trip. :-(

Wow! These are very nice. Love number 2. as it looks like it has movement in it. It would make a great print extra large that is.
