Too Much Dr. McGillicuddy's C&C Welcome

So I'm continuing to expirement with the February self-portrait challenge. I'm too impatiant though for people to tell me what they think! I know I can't use a photo that has already been submitted. Just means I'll have to come up with something even better for the actual submission!

So I was drinking a glass... or two of Dr. McGillicuddy's Black Licorice Schnapps when I had the flickering of an idea in my head and it took me a few (about 20 shots) to get what I wanted but this is it! Who said alcohol doesn't lead to anything productive! :thumbup:

It was a gift from my brother at Christmas! Anything black licorice related I love. It was bound to be drank from sooner or later. Plus I needed something to try and help kick this cold I got. If this stuff doesn't do the trick I don't know what will.

And yes, C&C on the actual picture!

lol Black licorice is the worst!! I'll doa shot of anything before that....
Fun shot. The only pick I have is maybe the bottle is a little dark on the right side. Oh and the light reflected from your glasses is a little distracting.
Sober up and take another shot...:thumbup:

The light reflecting off of my glasses is distracting, I agree. This is at the kitchen table with an overhead light.

I had my camera on my tripod, focused the bottle of McGillicuddy's then set the timer to 10 seconds, push the shutter button and try to quickly get into frame. Sometimes it didn't work quite how I wanted.

Here's another one I had, which I actually like how I'm lying in it more but it was before I had the glass in picture. Also it's in color.

And because I love the 50mm f/1.8 lens I've only had for a few weeks, here's another one.

If I get anything out of this; I think I learned that my table isn't level!

never heard of black licorice mcgillicuddys though! going to have to look out for that.
