Too vivid colours? Which one do you prefer?

Someone told me that colors in this photos hurt eyes

Google image search gives me this result for "Museum Brandhorst":

Are the color too vivid in the first photo (I setted the vibrance level to about 80%) ?
Which one do you prefer?

I like the first one better. The second looks washed out. However, the colors in the first are very bright. Perhaps toning down the sky might calm it down a bit. Not sure. I still like it though.

I prefer yours. It doesn't hurt my eyes at all - and if it did, I suspect the architect should be to blame!

Yours is better in every way. If the subject is mostly about colors, why not emphasize it? The colors of the building are perfect, and you've also got a nice deep blue sky.

I agree, the whole design of that building is about color, and your photo puts that right up front without looking overdone. I like it a lot. If your critic's eyes are sensitive to bright color then they shouldn't hang around modern design :razz:
