Hey Everyone,
If you didn't have a chance to view my first post see the link below:

So basically my fiance and I started redoing my room a few weeks ago and well needless to say its a lot of work. So this second set of photos will show you many hours of additional work that go into renovation!
When you run out of room in the hall you have to store things in the basement (these are the doors from my closet)

To make work a little easier we used the carpet as a cover for all the drywall, wallpaper bits, etc. since the carpet was going to be ripped up anyway (more on that later)

So once you get the walls stripped down you wind up with walls with a lot of holes in them

So one step i didn't really get a good chance to photograph was the stripping of the wallpaper glue off the wall. This picture shows some of the glue/stripper left on the wall

This wallpaper wasn't coming off despite our best efforts so we had to eventually paint over it (that wallpaper is over 50 years old!)

After i removed all my curtains my window frames were a mess (wait till you see how these turned out)

Next step: filling the holes

There were A LOT of holes!

The cover to the spackle (thats the stuff that you fill holes with)

Pausing for a minute to get a still life of all my junk

And this is where i will end with this post, Junk everywhere, but the good news is that the wall and the ceiling were ready to paint. Look for a third part tomorrow or Monday!
