These are tornado damage images from the April 28, 2002 LaPlata, F-4 tornado. I got there 20 minutes after the tornado passed.

yeah I was sitting in a school parking lot waiting it out. Didn't see the tornado but I sure felt, or should say the truck sure felt the hail!! Golf ball to baseball sized!

I was just about the only photographer there that night. It hit a little after 7 PM I believe and got dark quick. The next day was a diffrent story . Everybody and there mother were there LOL.

Most of the still images aside from the tornado itself that were on the Weather Channels show Storm Stories were mine. A few also were in a book, can't remember the title right now. A few in WeatherWise magazine.

Damn, I've always loved these kinds of pictures. Not cause they kill people and stuff, it's just cool. I find them interesting
