Hey everybody! I've always dabbled with photography, but never did much more than that. Since my daughter was born, I have the tickle to get into it even more now. I spent most of my artistic past painting, but now I want to get into playing with light! 
I'm wondering what everyone suggests to start out with as far as dSLRs, lenses, and lighting equipment to play around with and learn from. I'd like something that can really capture the action shots for my daughter, as well as animals. We have horses and I'm always out there trying to catch some of their incredible movements and moments. I'm also a huge fan of macro and landscape photography, and would love to explore this more, as well as play around and experiment with lighting equipment and tools. At the moment, I'm looking for some local classes to brush up on everything I learned in the past and learn even more! Any book recommendations are welcomed too! I'm a total researcher and love to learn from everyone with more experience, so tell me more is all I have to say! As far as budget, I don't have any incredible restrictions, but this is just to start out and learn from so it's not like it has to be superior professional grade, but I don't want crappy beginner stuff either, so please let me know anything I should stear clear from, and anything that you might have found beneficial along your way.
