I like #6 and #7 the best for showing the perspective of the crowd filling the whole block. I don't care for the placement of the poles in #2.

To be honest, these are well-focussed, well-exposed record shots. A 'good' photograph makes the viewer see or feel something that extends outside the frame.

Pick some point/feeling/idea that you want to make and then use composition, color, dof to make that point.
