Since it would appear I will soon need an app for every bloody forum I read, instead of a single that handles them all...

Can anyone tell me how to get the official TPF app to show me the latest posts in my "participated" threads? I can find the screen for participated posts, but its showing out of date info and some of the most recent dont seem to be there at all...

Thats a bummer. That was pretty much the only feature that drew me to tapatalk. Other than that, I'd just as soon use Safari.

Close, but no cigar. That will show me my posts, but not the latest post by another user in a thread I've participated in. The "current" tab has a "participated" heading, which is where I would think I'd find what I'm looking for, but doesn't seem to truly be "current."

If you have the iPhone app, you can just hit the "more" button, and subscribed.

If you have just downloaded the app, you can hit the more menu and edit in the top right to arrange the format at the bottom.

Current > Participated.

Maybe it doesn't appear up-to-date because no one has posted in that thread for a while.

Are you Backing Up to exit the app, or just clicking Home? If you do the former, you'll refresh the app when you relaunch it. Using Home will simply return you to where you were when you closed it last.

Current > Participated seems to work inconsistantly. I've responded in several threads tonight. Some of them show up in Current > Participated, but several do not. Others show up, but don't show the most recent post.

O_hey_tyler, "subscribed" will work, I'm sure, it's just an extra step I didn't need in the past. The only time I used "Subscribe" previously was when i had a thread I did NOT post in that I wanted to monitor. I will have to get used to clicking on subscribe when i post to a thread. Not, by any means, the end of the world.

My biggest bummer about losing tapatalk is that as more and more forums go this route, I will end up with a multitude of single use apps.

You can set it to automatically subscribe you to threads you respond to. That's what I do. You should look into it.

Try Refreshing the page.

Yup. Done that. I've also double tapped the home button, long clicked and killed the app, and reloaded. I get "different" results sometimes, but never completely up-to-date.

I think "subscribe" is going to be my short to long term work around, but I'd love it if we identify a fix for Current > Participated...

will do. Now if we can just get it to work with a dozen or so other forums, I'm all set...
