I would love to hear what you guys think. should I knock down the yellow tones in I just noted the watermark it should not be there that is what happens when I start playing with my lightroom setting so please overlook it.


ok well this is not right I think I messes with my export setting more then I thought i did so skip this post and I will repost this the right colors later. I have to get to bed.

I like the effect of the reflections on the train tracks, it's a cool look that really sets them off. I do have some critiques, though. I'm generally not a "the horizon has to be level guy" but I think it's hurting this picture. The horizon is too dominant in this to let it be slanted. I also think you need a deeper depth of field for this shot. It looks like the focus point was the first cross of track, but that left everything else fuzzy. I think this pic needs the entire field in focus, something like f11 probably would do it.

Compositionally, I think it would be better to have a lower point of view and angle the camera more to the right. Then you could get the whole line of the tracks off to the right to complete the line, and less empty space on the left.

Being perfectly honest, the technical elements are almost irrelevant since it's really not much of a picture. If this is a purely technical excercise, then by all means bulldoze away... but otherwise, I 'd say bin it.

Hi guys thanks for getting back to me the photo above did not upload correctly it is darker. However I believe that instead of trying to get this photo to upload right I will be reshooting this with your pointers in mind I agree that a lower pov would be better as well as a larger dof thank you for looking at this for me.
