Compositionally, processing wise it is nicely accomplished...but I don't know what to look at as a point of interest. Show me a big, fat rat in the foreground, a shovel and wastecan in the central area of the light and then I get at least an environmental commentary...Like it, but I don't.

Point of interest ! The pic is made exclusively form points of interest. No quiet spot there.

That's just it for me..busy over here, busy over there, busy-busy everywhere...So, where does my eye get a rest? What is the main subject? It's great shot and I said as much...I don't think anyone could ask for a better tonal range, better light or a better composition...everything is there ...but the rat - or whatever.

I agree it's a little busy. The distracting elements, imo are the stuff to the left of the vertical column in the foreground and above the ceiling, top center. Crop on the left almost up to the column, darken what's left of the bright area just to the left of the column, and crop the top to remove most of the lighter area top center and I think it would work much better. I'd also darken the outside light from the doorway.
