Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Was hoping I could get some criticism especially on composition or what might be done for post processing on casual photos I took while home for Christmas. These were taken with an iPhone 4s as I didn't bring a good camera, so they won't be fantastic quality. Go ahead and throw out any suggestions or criticism that you like, I'm very new to photography and won't be offended.

i think the only thing i could say is the photos look like any other photo with snow, maybe look for something that stands out from others but im no expert so dont take my word to heart. ;-D

The first suggestions I will make is to try and limit your posts for critique to no more than four images and to number them. Good C&C takes time, unfortunately, not many members have the time it takes to go through such a large post. In general, these aren't bad; snow is a challenging subject because it's much brighter than the camera's light meter expects it to be, and thus the snow is often over-exposed, but most of these are fairly close.

Thanks tirediron. Normally I would have posted a lot fewer images at a time but I wanted to get an idea as to how my overall composition is and what I might change. I've been trying to follow the rule of 3rds which is sometimes challenging with landscapes.

Fair enough, but try not to get too caught up with it, and think of it more like the "Suggestion of thirds" rather than the rule. There's LOTS of times when you don't want to apply it. Chances are if you just frame the scene the way it seems right to you, it will be right. The reason we have these "rules" is because they're what the average person tends to find appealing naturally.
