Traveling to Vegas for a few days. Best walk around lens?

if I had 4 days in Vegas, I would NOT limit myself to one lens, imo.

18-55 is nice, I would ALSO love to have either my 35 (I know the range is covered in the kit, BUT, the prime at 35 is SO much sharper), and my 28-300. I would also feel guilty leaving behind the 12-24, just SO good for capturing wide, WIDE shots.

I just got back from shooting in Vegas this weekend. It is such an overwhelming visual experience, I would opt for the 18-55 to try and capture the overall chaos and activity.

That said, there really isn't a "right" answer. Whichever lens you leave behind is the one you will end up needing. At least that's how it works for me. Ideally, I'd keep the 55-200 on my camera and try to get my wife to carry the 18-55 in her purse!!!
