A little boy was sat on the other side of this tree that was carved in to a seat, it is on the other end in Hove park.

In the storm of 87 a lot of trees were blown down, so I think they got some one to keep the stump of this and turn it in to a seat with carvings on it.

I think they lost about 80 trees in Hove park.

Nice one!! Over the years I've done a few carvings, nothing that big. Belonged to a carving club for a couple years, that was hosted by a master. Learned a lot.

All it takes are sharp tools, and EXTREME patience, because you can't put back what you cut away. LOL
