Tree

I dont post much but have been taking the camera to work to capture some pics, I am in no way good at this but just starting. I saw this tree and thought how amzingly old it must be.

It's definitely an interesting tree ... and huge. I think you are too close, though. The tree is overwhelming the image. Maybe take a few steps back. I like that swing in the image and how you framed it. Gives me a sense of scale and has various other connotations in relationship to the tree. If you were to get slightly lower and angle upward, you could frame it so that the swing was surrounded by just snow and isolated from the objects underneath it. So, I say try again--back up a bit, give the tree some breathing room, get lower and isolate the swing.

It would be nice to do all those things but it really doesnt have room in the yard as far background, i took the picture from my truck window that was parked in the customers driveway as it was only about 12 degrees out,lol. If I head back over i will try what you reccommend, thanks.
