Tricolored Heron (Egretta tricolor)

I was lucky enough to find this guy the other day. He is a male and since it is breeding season his bill turned this nice blue color.

Shot with a Canon 30D and a Canon 70-300mm IS lens @300mm. Thanks for looking

great shot! I have never seen this type of heron around may area. Is the habitat a salt marsh?
